1. Data Collection
We believe in minimalism. In.dl collects only the bare minimum required:
- IP Addresses: Used strictly for rate limiting (5 downloads/day for guests) and abuse prevention.
- User Accounts: If you register, we store your username and a hashed (encrypted) version of your password.
- Payment Proofs: Screenshots uploaded for plan upgrades are stored securely for verification.
2. File Retention
We do not store your files permanently.
- When you request a download, our server temporarily processes the Instagram media.
- Automatic Deletion: All downloaded files are automatically wiped from our servers within 1 hour.
- We do not keep logs of what specific content you download.
3. Cookies
We use a single authentication token (JWT) stored in your browser to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking pixels.
